This is what I have been working on since last Sunday to today (well, minus wednesday). So that clocks at 15 hours or more. roughly.
After 8 months of delay, a HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY GIFT to my super awesome friend
She's been one of my biggest supporters of my comics since gradeschool and I really, really love her for all the things she has done. 
If not for her, these favorite characters of hers would not be who they are now.
Clockwise starting from the Girl
Ysef and Tellou: the duo from my story, 'Necromancer'. She randomly talked to me about wanting a story about ghost and paranormal stuff, and it was that request that churned out this silly necromancer and his hot-headed-ex-Dark-Lord.
Animateia: a main character from my comic, '2 Times One Half'. Originally the name I had was split in 'Ani' and 'Mateia'. She was the one who told me 'Anima' and 'Teia' would be a better alternative. Thank God.
Arcane: From my story, 'Sanctuary'. She just supported all the ideas I rambled on about this story.
Fray: Her favorite from the 'Sentinel Project'. She loved him as I hated him as he loved a certain angsty boy....
Besides requesting all her favorite characters all done in cel-shade, she wanted me included the pic. So there I am. tada.
Still finding something wonky with the sitting anatomy, but I love how I've managed to give them all different clothes X3 Too bad Tellou's shirt was blocked, I was rather fond of his print shirt
60% of the time was spent on the inking of characters (god that took me forever to come up with the poses!) 30% on the coloring then 20% was on the background.
Done with Rambling. So Happy with this accomplishment!

Aww, that is such a sweet idea for a birthday gift! I can really see the strength of your friendship in this, from the bright colors and careful details to the expressions of every charactter. I love the kites and balloons.
