-or rather, I'm walking the ceremony and officially finished with my art school tomorrow! D8
Semi meh since I was already finished last December, but sorta bittersweet since I'm graduating, and so are all my classmates and friends, and now we're all just scrambling to find our place in the animation/art industry and in the world.
It's been a flip flop of bad things (getting sick by different afflictions within the span of 3 weeks consecutively, losing money) and good things (finding a steady small job, moving back home, pa coming from the philippines to see me graduate, a wonderful school animation show) so been really quiet on the Deviantart front.
On the other hand, my <a href="kalkiedoodles.tumblr.com>tumblr is just spammed with a lot of doodles I tend to lose track of the time to actually combine them as art dumps over here.;;;
I wish I knew what more to say besides the usual 'Thank you wonderful new people who watch me and fave my stuff!'
Plus I've noticed lately people have been less commentative, not just on my stuff but everywhere on DA and Tumblr really. But I am amazed people are faving some of my Really Really old pieces-I'm a little embarrassed but still thankful you enjoy them!

2020 Coming back+Art Dump
Hi everybody.
I'm not quite sure how to explain my absence or very little activity here. It started with posting stuff on tumblr and laziness, but then it drifted into not wanting to upload stuff due to waning confidence. So for the last year and now I've just been trying to unpack myself and try to find the love again in my own stuff. So in the meantime I'm going to play catch up in uploading my stuff here in chronological order (like 2014 drawings onwards). Because
1) I'm a stickler for chronology
2) I remember that early on in my DA life I wanted this account to essentially archive my artistic dev't, ugly sketches and all.

I'm not dead. But
I've been more or less doing alright over the last couple of months but since using Tumblr, then the Tumblr bot apocalypse, the political landscape of the times I haven't been as active on social media with any illustrations, so it's just been a whole ton of doodles and comics that are more or less just private RPs with friends. I want to get back to DA but every time I look at the mountain of stuff I have to sort, compile and upload it's a little bit daunting but since I've been pushing it off for a good 1-2 years now the pile just keeps getting bigger and more daunting haha;; Also figuring out the new stuff around here and anyway tldr; sorry not sorry if your inbox suddenly gets spammed with doodles. In the meantime here's the current OCs I've been messing with the last couple of months.
FEBRUARY is SILHOUETTE MONTH
I HELLA DIDN'T MEAN TO BUT WHOOPS IM ON A SILHOUETTE SENTINEL CREATIVE BINGE MODE.
Actually its more of I'm still working on Necromancer but haha that stuff's not going to be seen anytime soon again because it's all comic layout hair pulling and drafts and color pallette choosings so I'm indulging in Silhouette to offset that upset and whoops wouldn't you know it there's a year worth of RP doodles I haven't put up yet and another idea that I'm just running with while I still have the steam to do it.Honestly at some point there's gonna be a massive landfill sketch dump because I'm a horrible sketch hoarder.
